PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CHARGES
We are pleased to provide you with a full disclosure of our Professional Service Charges. To help you understand Funeral Cost, we have an outline of the categories that make up a funeral account. There are basically four sections that make up the total funeral account:
First, Professional Service, Facilities, and Transportation Charges; Second, Casket & Merchandise Selections; Third, Cash Disbursement; and Fourth, imposed taxes on applicable items.
To aid consumers, the FTC requires that all funeral homes must provide an itemized price list of all of their related Professional Service Charges, as well as casket and merchandise charges. This list must be available at the funeral home at the consumer's request without cost or obligation.
We take pride in being one of the most reasonably priced funeral homes in the area, although many families expect our charges to be much higher given the level of professionalism, quality of facilities, and ethical standards. Because of the quality of our services and the fact that we offer many services that our competitors do not, we are sometimes not the least expensive. Cremation Services
We offer several service options for families that choose cremation which can include a full service funeral, a memorial service, or something more private, as well as permanent resting place options for the cremated remains.
CASKET & MERCHANDISE SELECTIONS
This section is specific to the casket that the family selects. All of our caskets and merchandise are priced separately- meaning the price you see for the casket is for the casket itself. Prices range from $500 to $8,000.00. Some of the other types of merchandise you'll find in this section of the funeral account are Burial Vaults, Cremation Urns, extra DVD's, candles, and the memorial folder package.
CASH DISBURSEMENTS - Cash Advances
These are as they imply. These are costs to the families we serve that are not actual funeral home charges. These costs are handled in a variety of ways. We encourage you to discuss these items with us and discover the most convenient manner in which to handle those that apply.
Typical cash disbursements might include:
Newspaper & Radio Notices, Clergy Honorariums, Cemetery Charges, Flowers, Death Certificates, and Music Honorariums.
Personalization
