William "Bill" Walker was born September 3, 1953 in Steele, MO to John and Willie Mae (Pritchard) Walker. He died Thursday, December 25, 2014 at Pemiscot Memorial Hospital in Hayti, MO at the age of 61 years, 3 months and 22 days. Preceding him in death were his parents, John and Willie Mae (Pritchard) Walker and two brothers, John and James Edward Walker. Mr. Walker accepted Christ at a later age and his favorite Scripture was John 14: 1-3. He was well known and loved at Portageville Nursing Home. He leaves to cherish his memories: one daughter: Angela Edmonds-Rush of East St. Louis, IL; one brother: Jimmy Walker of Portageville, MO; four sisters: Mary Walker of Tallahassee, FL; Bertha and Jannie Walker, both of Cape Girardeau, MO; Bobbie (Leonard) Boyd of Sikeston, MO; a niece and nephew Teresa and Daren Walker Foster of Portageville, MO; and James and wife, Barbara Walker of Tallahassee, FL; four grandsons: Andrew, Charles Jr., Renell and Demons Edmonds and two granddaughters, Ericka and Andrea Edmonds, all of East St. Louis, IL; two great-grandchildren and a host of many other relatives and friends.
