Was born September 15, 1935 in Portageville, MO to William Edward Reginald (Ragel) Phillips and Lillian Beauton (Pikey) Phillips. He died Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at Landmark Nursing Facility, Cape Girardeau, MO at the age of 81 years, 1 month and 11 days.

Preceding him in death was his parents, Lillian Beauton (Pikey) Phillips & William Edward Reginald (Ragel) Phillips, one son, William E. Phillips Jr. and his brother, Ronnie Phillips.

Mr Phillips was a veteran of the United States Airforce. He was a member of the First Church of God and could be seen at any of the Bulldog Games as he was an avid fan.

He leaves to mourn his passing his wife, Maria "Rose" Phillips of Portageville, two daughters, Cindylou Phillips of Portageville, MO, Lillian "Deedee" Olsen of South Daytona, Florida, brother, Donald (Marie) Phillips of Portageville, MO, sister, Sue(Tommy) Krebs of St. Louis, MO, sister-in-law, Alice (Phillips) Janes  of Rogers, Arkansas, 2 grandchildren, Danielle Olsen & Robert Dale Beggs Jr., four 4 great-grandchildren, Julien Horn, Alexander Layton, Madisyn Balderas and Nakoma Rose Beggs and a host of other relatives and friends.
