Walter Paul Stafford

W as born November 26, 1933 in Portageville, Missouri to J.D. and Nola (Rentho) Stafford. He died Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at his home in Portageville, MO at the age of 82 years 10 months and 2 days.

O n October 18, 1955 in Hernando, MS Mr. Walter married Jewell Johnson, she preceded him in death on April 10, 2003. Also preceding him in death was his brother, Robert Stafford and one sister, Lena Wallace. He was employed many years with Noranda Aluminum Industry, he was a mason, he enjoyed many hobbies from collecting antique signs to building ultralight aircrafts, he loved being outside especially spending time with his family.

H e leaves cherish his memories two sons: Michael Dewayne (late; Michelle) Stafford and Gregory Keith (Janet) Stafford both of Portageville, MO, one daughter: Paula Marie (Ronnie) Ezell of Marble Hill, MO, ten grandchildren: Jeremy Stafford, Chad Durbin, Josh Durbin, Matthew Stafford, Jonathan Stafford, Amber Stafford Justen DeRousse, Teri-Ann DeRousse, Misty Ezell & Kyle Ezell, 16 great-grandchildren, one on the way  and a host of many other relatives and friends.
