He served as a past master in the Masons and served in the U. S. Army. He was united in marriage Dec. 24, 1996 in Barnhart, MO to Sue (Harper) Roberts who survives of the home. Preceding him in death was his father James Roberts, his grandparents, Robert & Mildred Beasley. He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Sue Roberts of Lilbourn, MO; his mother & step-father, Glenda & Chuck Bowers of New Madrid, MO; one son, Ryan Roberts of Lilbourn, MO; five daughters: Laura Roberts of Fenton, MO, Lesley (Michael) Brown of Marston, MO, Heather Coffman of Florissant, MO, Jennifer (Kevin) Chappins of O'Fallon, MO & Krystal Coffman of Lilbourn, MO; three brothers: James (Dorothy) Roberts of Portageville, MO, John (Teresa) Roberts of Chillicothe, Ohio & Wes (Christine) Roberts of St. Louis, MO; one sister, Crystal Kardos of Avondale, AZ; 7 grandchildren: Kayla & Ashton Chappins, Kami Coffman, Mya Silver, Nathan Crespi, Brooklyn Patrick, & Isabella Jeffords and a host of other relatives and friends.
