Virginia Mae (McGown) Joynt

Was born on May 9, 1958 in Rockport , Tx to the late Bobbie Jo Campbell, She passed away on Sunday, April 23, 2023 in Portageville, MO at the age of 64 years.

She was later joined in marriage to Robert Joynt of Michigan, they were married in Bilox, MS on April 7, 2007, later she reunited with her daughter to make her home in Portageville, where she joined the First Assembly of God Church with Brother Eugene Poole and made many new friends.

Virginia loved to cook, listen to music, singing, dancing, crocheting, reading her bible, going on adventures, traveling, watching sunsets and visiting family and friends.

She leaves behind to cherish her memories her husband, Robert Joynt of Portageville, MO, daughters, Katherine Nicole (Brice) Atkins of Portageville, MO and Tyna Joanne McGown of San Antonio, TX, a step-daughter, Dawn Joynt of Miami, Fl, grandchildren, Thomas-Andrew Danels and Eryn-Faith Posey Atkins both of Portageville, MO, children and grandchildren that were adopted in her heart, Kristin and Alyssa Pullam, Rebecca Brasher and Stetson Lee Grogan, nephew, Shawn Drake of Cadillac, MI, a niece, Amanda Drake of Portageville, MO, great nephews, William Drake, Logan Drake and Little Shawn Drake, and a great niece Abigail Drake, She has 3 very special friends, Joanne Bourdine of Mississippi, Cindy Phillips Grisby and Linza LeGrand of Portageville, MO, who made her life a little more fun and enjoyable.
