Virginia M. Ferguson Was born February 9, 1924 in Mine La Motte, Mo to Lue and Lucy Bequette. She died Saturday, September 3, 2011 at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Mo at the age of 87 years, 6 months and 23 days. She was united in marriage on August 17, 1940 to Doyle C. Ferguson who passed away July 26, 1971, also proceeding her in death were her parents, Lucy & Lue Bequette; and brothers, Glenn Bequette, Ernie Bequette and sisters, Ruby Bequette, Louise Montgomery, Helen Jackson along with several half brothers. She was a member of the First Church of God and a Sunday School Teacher for many years She leaves to cherish her memories two daughters and sons-in-law, Loma Delores and Jim Ford of Festus, MO and Dorothy Carole and Clark Powell of Dayton, Ohio One Brother, Lue Bequette of Fredericktown, MO. Four grandchildren- Michele Crawford, Jerome Ellis, Timmy Ellis all of Portageville and Wesley Powell of Dayton, Ohio. Sixth great-grandchildren, Brooke Crawford Frakes, Kristen Crawford, Lindsey Ellis, Kacie Ellis, Colton Ellis and Benjamin Powell, one great-great grandchild, Layla Beth Ellis of Portageville and a host many other relatives and friends.
