She died Thursday July 9, 2009 at Golden Living Center, New Madrid, Mo at the age of 70 years, 6 months and 8 days. She was united in marriage to Harold Smith on May 12, 1956 in Tunica, MS he survives of the home. Preceding her in death, were her parents, Louise Layman Reid & L.C. Reid; one son Steven Smith on Dec. 5, 1993, and daughter Brenda Wicks on Jan. 29, 2009, Her brothers; Billy, Danny, Lloyd Reid, and Sister Joy Shock.
