Vella Bea Moody
Was born August 27, 1932 in Monette, Arkansas to Beulah Edna Hampton & E.T. "Bill" Robinson. She passed away on Sunday, February 23, 2020 at the Gideon Care Center at the age of 87 years, 5 months and 27 days.

Preceding her in death was her parents, Beulah Edna Hampton and E.T. "Bill" Robinson, her daughter, Lauri Michelle Moody in 1968, also preceding her, was brother, Melvin Gerald Robinson in 2002.

She was united in marriage on March 20, 1955 in Portageville, MO to Edd Moody Jr he preceded her in death on January. 5, 1981. She retired from the City of Portageville as the city clerk for 30 years, serving from 1983-2013. She was a member of BP&W Club. She enjoyed working with her flowers, she attended the First Baptist Church of Portageville.

She leaves to cherish her memories: three sons, Edd Moody III of Mountain Home, AR, Jerry Bill (Anna) Moody of Portageville, MO, Terry Ray Moody of Portageville, MO, her daughter; LaDonna Whitley of Portageville, MO, one brother; Calvin Thomas(Karein) Robinson of Brandon, MS, two sisters; J. Dianne Fuller of Liberty, MO, L. Suzanne (Don) Hartlein of Portageville MO, six grandchildren; Sumar Stafford, Tiffany Whitley, Edd Moody IV, Tyler Moody, Matt Moody & Aaron Moody, her great grandchildren: Sara Scott, Bethie, Case, Colt Stafford, Rilee Matlock, Brentley Whitley, Bentlee Whitley, Korbin Springer, Kollin Springer, Archer Moody & Noah Roger Moody and a host of many other relatives and friends
