Ulysses Grant"Pete" Totty Was born August 22, 1918 in Conran, MO to Dolly Jane Liggett Totty and Newton Totty. He died Thursday; March 14, 2013 at The Regional Medical Center in Memphis, TN at the age of 94 years, 6 months and 19 days. He was united in marriage to Jewell Faye White, she preceded him in death, November 29, 2012 , also preceding him in death, were his parents, Dolly Jane Totty & Newton Totty, one brother, Vernie S. Totty. He was a long time employee of Standard Oil Company in Portageville, A Member of the First Baptist Church, member of the Point Pleasant Masonic Lodge #176, member of Royal Arch Wilson Chapter No. 75, Scottish Rite of Freemasonry, Supreme Council 33, The Order of the White Shrine of Jerusalem and The Sword of Bunker Hill. He leaves to cherish his memories one son, Steve Totty of Laport, IN, two daughters & son-in-law, Terry & Jackie Watson of Monroe City, MO, Rebecca Ann Totty of Aiken, SC, Grandchildren; Kathleen Morgan Totty, Lisa (Jim) Rucker, Dale & Michelle Watson, Kelly (Tim) McGrath, Angelia (Keith) Gosney, 6 Great Grandchildren; Jake Rucker, Katie Watson, Maggie Watson, Timmy (Tara) McCrath, Ryan McGrath, Cole Miles, 2 Great-Great Grandchildren; Jackson & Emma McGrath. and a host many other relatives and friends.
