Was born November 2, 1953 in Hayti, MO to George Simmons and Margie DeRousse Simmons. He passed away on Saturday; November 3, 2018 at Missouri Delta Medical Center-Sikeston, MO at the age of 65.

December 19, 1983 in Lilbourn, MO he married Kathy Williams, she survives of the home. Preceding him in death was his brothers, Douglas Simmons in 1990 and James Terry Simmons in 2017, his sister, Rene Simmons. He enjoyed driving trucks but loved being with his family.

He leaves to cherish his memories his father: George Simmons of Marston, MO, his mother; Margie DeRousse Simmons of Portageville, MO, his wife: Kathy Simmons of New Madrid, MO, his children, Tommy Simmons Jr. and Candice (Adam) Craft both of Perryville, MO, Kathy Blanchette of Dexter, MO, Billy (Tamara) Scallion of Portageville, MO, Justin Scallion of New Madrid, MO, his brothers; Michael Simmons of Portageville, MO, Floyd Simmons of Portageville, MO, Chris Simmons of Portageville, MO, his sisters; Anita Smith of Hayti, MO, Kim Reynolds of Portageville, MO, Kay Watkins of Wardell, MO, Mary Miller of Portageville, MO, 16 Grandchildren and 1 Great-Grandson and a host of many other relatives and friends.
