Susan King Totty, 70, New Madrid, Mo.

Passed away peacefully Saturday May 19, 2018 at Missouri Delta Medical Center, her daughters Karen Totty Petroff and Michelle Totty at her bedside after a short battle with pneumonia.

Predeceased by her parents, Robert DeLisle King, and Thelma Parks King, her sister Ann King Taylor, and brother Michael King; Susan is survived by her daughters, Karen (Jeff) Petroff, Michelle Totty; her granddaughter Grace Petroff; her siblings Bob King (Sharon), Beth (Mike) Mapes, Harry (Sandy) King, Mary Linda (Ken) Grigsby, Jimmy (Vicki Jo) King, Joe King, and Richard (Monica) King; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Susan graduated Summa Cum Laude from Old Dominion University with a Bachelors of Science in Speech Pathology and pursued a rewarding 20-year career teaching children with special needs in the Arlington Independent School District in Arlington, Texas.

Susan requested a private memorial and therefore in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to either The Morgan Adams Foundation or the National Multiple Sclerosis Society in her name.
