SUSAN GRAY DACUS Susan Gray Dacus was born January 16, 1954, to Cletis and Irma (Brown) Dacus at Hayti Missouri. She passsed to her reward peacefully, Sunday, May 27, 2018 at 12:40 a.m. at Portageville Nursing center after a five day stay and short illness. Susan attended Portageville Elementary and Junior High where she was a cheerleader and active in many activities She graduated from Pontiac Michigan High School where she had made life long friends that were like family. She worked several different jobs, General Motors, Drycleaners, Retail, Home Health personal care aide, DAEOC, and as a contract caregiver to many. She was active in First Church of God in Portageville and helped with funeral dinners and anywhere she felt she saw a need she could help fill. She was preceded in death by her parents, her Aunt Gray Brown whom she took care of in her last years of life, her infant brother, John Dacus and her older brother James Cletis (Jim) Dacus in 2008, many aunts, uncles, cousins and special people in her life. She leaves to mourn her passing and celebrate her life her pride and joy, her son, Kyle Lamar Dacus of Cape Girardeau, her Aunts Euladean Farmer and Connie Shankle of Portageville and Uncle Sibert (Hazel) Dacus of Sikeston, many cousins close friends and friends that are family. Her celebration of life with friends and family will be at First Church of God 500 King Avenue Portageville, Friday, June 1, 2018, at 1 to 2:30 with Memorial service starting at 2:30 . She will lay to rest  in her family plot@ Portageville Cemetery  with her parents and brothers, with DeLisle Funeral Home in charge.
