Shirley Dewayne Miller
W as born February 27, 1944, in Wardell, MO to Ethel Muse Miller and Clarence Miller. he passed away on Friday October 1, 2021, at his home in Portageville at the age of 77 years.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Clarence & Ethel Muse Miller; his sisters, Lillian Starnes & Mary Ellen Miller, his brothers; Harold (Tom) Miller & Carol Miller.
Shirley was united in marriage to Kathy Boatwright on February 8, 1969 and were married 52 years. He loved spending time with his family and hunting. He was employed with The Little River Drainage District for 38 years and retired in 2016. He was drafted in the U.S Army in 1966 and was there until 1968. He became a member of Four Mile NO. 2012 A, F & A,M at Campbell after the Wardell Lodge closed. He loved mowing the yard on his John Deere mower, whether working or mowing he put everything into it, there was no one else like him.
Shirley leaves to cherish his wife, Kathy, his son, Kevin (Mary) Miller, his daughter Tori (Damon) Crucani of Kennett. His grandchildren, Kelsi Miller, Avery Miller, and Charlie Crucani. His brothers; Dalton (Kathy) of Gideon, Alton (Brenda) of Tallapoosa, and Keith (Karen) of Campbell. His sisters; June Graham of St. Louis. Joyce of Risco and Barbara (Roger) of Portageville along with many more relatives and friends
