Shirley Knox Jeffers Was born February 21, 1934 in Pascola, MO to Russell Sidney Jeffers and Georgia Grace (Jackson) Jeffers. He died Monday, February 16, 2015 at St Anthony Hospital, St. Louis, MO at the age of 80 years, 11 months and 26 days. He was united in marriage to Mildred Jeffers who preceded him in death also preceding him in death were his parents, Georgia Grace (Jackson) Jeffers & Russell Sidney Jeffers, his brothers, Robert Duncan, Russell Jeffers, George Jeffers, Roy Jeffers, his sister, Jerrie McWhirter. He loved playing cards with his family, going to the horse races. He had previously owned and operated a bar, worked as a security guard for Wells Fargo and was a veteran of the United States Army. He leaves to cherish his memories his sisters: Evelyn Wall of Clinton, MO, Inez Duncan of House Springs , MO, Emma Hayes of Portageville, MO, Frances Drummond of Farmington, AR, Olive Jeffers of House Springs, MO, several nieces and nephews and a host of many other relatives and friends.
