Sheila Lynn Ward Jones

Sheila Lynn Ward Jones was born on August 17, 1964, in Hayti, Missouri. to the late Jimmie Long Ward & Bobby Ward. She passed away on Thursday September 18, 2025, at Cape Girardeau, Mo, at the age of 61.

Preceding her in death was her parents, Jimmie Long Ward & Bobby Ward. Momma cherished every moment spent with her two daughters, Sherrie & Megan. Nothing brought her more joy than cheering on her grandbabies – she was their biggest fan. She beamed with pride as she watched KK play softball, graduate & welcome her beautiful baby girl, Havyn Belle. She loved seeing Kenzie light up the sidelines at football and  & basketball games, while growing stronger in her passion for Christ. She was proud of CJ as his love for football grew year after year. And she adored watching Graclyn Blossom into such a kindhearted young girl. Though momma can no longer be there in person, she will forever remain their greatest cheerleader in spirit.

She leaves to cherish her memories, daughters, Sherrie Hendrix and Megan Dorris both of Portageville, MO, and a built in son she loved dearly Billy.  Four grandchildren; Kaylee Womack of Sikeston, MO, Kenzie Hendrix, C.J. Miller, Graclyn Dorris all of Portageville, MO and her great granddaughter, Havyn Glueck of Sikeston, MO. Momma also treasured her friendships and never met a stranger. She had a way of making everyone feel loved and welcomed wherever she went. To know Momma was truly to love her.
