He was  united in marriage to Kim Blagg on June 14, 1999 in Hayti, Missouri. she survives of the home.

He loved collecting stuff, or as Kim would say was junk, he collected guns especially the older ones, swords, Harry Potter items or really just anything. He enjoyed watching Andy Griffin & Scrubs

Preceding him in death was his sister Elizabeth Stafford.
