Ruth Benthal

Ruth Benthal was born on August 10, 1939, in New Madrid, Missouri. to the late Violet Morrow Davis & James Davis. She passed away on Monday, June 23, 2025, at her home in New Madrid, MO, at the age of 85 years.

Preceding her in death was her parents, Violet Morrow Davis & James Davis, also preceding, her one son; Gary Bowles and family members; Jinks Davis, Dorothy Davis, Doyle Davis, Imogene Benthal & Pete Davis.. She enjoyed gardening and was a very faithful member of the Riverbend Pentecostal Church of New Madrid.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her daughter; Teresa Ann Bowles of Orlando, Florida, sister, Naomi Thatcher of New Madrid, MO, grandchildren; Lauren (Brandon) Murphy, Kristen L. (Timothy) Joiner, Corey (Erica) Bowles, Kayleigh Bowles.  Her great-grandchildren; Grace Murphy, Vivian Murphy, Sylvana Bowles & Kieren Joiner, & a host of many other relatives and friends
