R ussell Edward Smith was born on June 25, 1954 in St. Louis, MO to the late Tommy Smith & Emma Jeffers Smith.  He passed away on July 19, 2022 at St. Louis, MO at the age of 68 years 0 months 24 days.

P receding him in death was his parents, Emma Jeffers, and Tommy Smith.  Also preceding him was one son Russell Smith Jr.

H e was united in marriage to Karen Wood on June 5, 1974.

H e leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Karen Smith, who survives of the home; one son, Joshua (Michelle) Smith of St. Peters, MO; two daughters; Jennefer (Joe) Fortner of Marston, MO and Jessica Smith of Marston, MO; four sisters; Cherie Allinger of Hayward, MO, Sue Slusser of Hayward, MO, Judy Helms of Hayward, MO and Maria Smith of St. Ann, MO and a host of other relatives and friends
