Ruby Ellen Rooker

W as born August 26, 1928 in Portageville, Mo to Margaret Ann Davidson House & William Robert House. She passed away on Tuesday December 24, 2019 at Golden Living Center, in New Madrid MO at the age of 91 years 3 months and 28 days

S he was united in marriage on June 11, 1943 to B.J. Rooker Sr. he preceded her in death on April 18, 2004. Also preceding her in death was her parents; Margaret Ann Davidson and William Robert House, two sons B.J. Rooker Jr., Jimmy Allen Rooker, two brothers; Luther House, Raymond House, and her sisters Mary Webber, Florence Hawkins, Margie Todd and Glady Smith. She was of the  Methodist Faith and loved cooking for her family and spending time with them.

S he leaves to cherish her memories: her son, Robert Daniel Rooker of Jefferson City MO, four daughters, Eva (Jeff) Mansfield of Vicksburg, MS, Sandra Rooker of St. Louis, MO, Mary (Jack) Akins of Overland Park, KS,  Kathy Rooker Marvin of Bosier City, LA, one sister, Betty Butler of Portageville, MO. 17 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, 7 great great grandchildren,  and a host of many other relatives and friends
