She was united in marriage to James E. Barbre in February of 1956 in Hernandez, MS. He preceded her in death January 26, 2013. She was a member of the New Life Assembly Church of New Madrid. She worked as a storekeeper for Sally and John Shibley. Preceding her in death, were her parents Willie and Gracie (Madlock) Hardin, her husband, James, a sister, Imogene Hardin and a grandchild Scott L. Barbre.
