Ronald J. Vinson Was born Jan. 17, 1943 in Paducah, KY to Ester Ellen Minton and Albert Vinson. He died Wednesday July 10, 2013 at Cape Girardeau, MO at the age of 70. He was united in marriage August 4, 1972, in Portageville, MO to Shelba Janene Wyatt, she survives. Preceding him in death were his parents, Ester Ellen Minton & Albert Vinson, brothers, Richard and Billy Vinson, and sisters, Wilma Evans, Murrell Bauman, and Dorothy Calhoun . He served in the United States Army and was the Chief of Cairo Ambulance District. He was a deputy sheriff for Alexander County and was with the Fire and Rescue Squad. He attended Apostolic Truth Tabernacle Church in Portageville. He leaves to cherish his memories his sons Ronald Javaign Vinson of Portageville, MO and Jason Todd Vinson of Scott City, MO a sister, Ruby Dillard of Henderson, KY, a brother; Donald Terry Vinson of Cairo, IL, three grandchildren, Michael Andrew Vinson of Dexter, MO, Gabriel Todd Vinson & Sydney Marie Vinson both of Scott City, MO & lifelong friends; Buddy & Marilyn Hollis and H.B. & Phyllis Carr and a host of many other relatives and friends.
