Ronald Ansel "Ronnie" Underwood Was born September 6, 1944 in Hayward, MO to Elsie (Smith) Underwood and Ansel Underwood. He died Friday; August 26, 2011 at his home in Portageville, MO at the age of 66 years, 11 months and 20 days. He was united in marriage to Peggy Gordon on July 22, 1962 in Portageville, MO she survives of the home. He is preceded in death, by his parents, Elsie (Smith) Underwood & Ansel Underwood; and grandparents, James & Mame Underwood and Ernest & Ida Smith. Ronnie Farmed and was retired from Noranda Aluminum was a member of the First Baptist Church , He was very devoted to his family and friends. He leaves to cherish his memories his wife; Peggy Underwood of the Home, two sons & daughters-in-law; Greg & Trena Underwood of Portageville, MO and Ryan & Andrea Underwood of Little Rock, AR, three sisters; Carolyn & Richard Worley of Hornsby, TN, Joyce Vinyard of Houston, TX and Ann Medlin of Caruthersville, MO, three brothers; Don & Wanda Underwood of Portageville, MO, Phil & Carolyn Underwood of Portageville, MO and Mark & Sheila Underwood of Portageville, MO, three grandchildren; Katlyn Underwood, Chad Underwood & Ashlyn Underwood and a host many other relatives and friends.
