Roger Woolsey, 65, passed away in Sikeston, on May 16, 2024. He was born Aug. 30, 1958, in Hayti, Missouri, to Delbert and Alene Woolsey.

Roger graduated from Sikeston High School in 1976. He worked for many years at Wohl Shoe Company, Burch Food Services and Southeast Missouri Food Bank. He enjoyed helping people, wanting to make a difference. His sincerity, loyalty and humor made an impact on everyone who met him. He treasured the bonds of family and friends. Distance, time and circumstances of life never changed how Roger felt about his family and the people he called friend; they were always in his heart.

He is survived by his son, Tyler Woolsey of Sikeston; his mother, Alene Woolsey of Sikeston; his brother and sister-in-law, Randal and Donita Woolsey of Blytheville, Arkansas; his nephew, Justin (Shannon) Woolsey of Blytheville; a great-niece, Kayleigh; and three great-nephews, Kelan, Jagger, and Ridge Woolsey of Blytheville. He was preceded in death by his father, Delbert Woolsey.

Roger will be laid to rest beside his father in Portageville, Missouri.
