Robert E. Willis

W as born July 11, 1948 in New Madrid, MO to the late Elmer Willis and Clara Kelly Willis. He passed away on Friday March 29, 2019 at home in Cape Girardeau, MO at the age of 70.

O n June 20, 1970 he married Linda J. Willis, she survives of the home. Robert joined United States Marine Corps in 1965, serving four years in Vietnam. He was a retired Iron worker a member of St. Louis District Council local 782, where he was a foreman and superintendent of numerous companies throughout his 40 year work history. Robert suffered from dementia/Alzheimer for he will always be remembered by his family and friends as a hardworking man with a heart of gold. He was a wonderful husband, father, brother, grandfather and great grandfather.

L oving survives include his wife, Linda Willis, three daughters: Tammy Beaird of Cape Girardeau, MO, Christina Tanner of Sikeston, MO, Deborah (Todd) Smith of Tyler, Texas, two sisters; Rosa (John) Langley of New Madrid, MO, Dorothy Chamberlain of New Madrid, MO, five grandchildren, five great grandchildren and a host of many other relatives and friends.
