ROBERT WILLIAM "BOBBY" GEE

Bobby was born on August 23, 1957 in Highland, IL to the late Robert (Bob) Gee and Irene Schomaker Gee.  He passed away at his home on August 17, 2022 at Portageville, MO at the age of 64 years, 11 months 25 days.

Bobby was united in marriage to Emily Eftink, the love of his life, on July 16, 1977. She went before him in death exactly 5 years on August 17, 2017. In addition to his father, a son-in-law, Jack Petrovich also preceded him.

Bobby lived his entire life in Portageville, and was a member of the St. Eustachius Parish.  He graduated from Portageville High School, later graduating from Southeast Missouri State University with a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration.  He loved his time he spent farming and then later, his years working in agribusiness.

Bobby surrounded himself with laughter, family, friends, and was always Bulldog blue. No one was ever a stranger for long.   He was devoted to his grandchildren, they were his world and he was theirs.

Those who will keep his memories in our hearts forever are his mother, Irene Gee of Portageville, MO; his daughters, Erin Gee Jeffries of Portageville, MO, and Sarah (Adam) Graddy of Ozark, MO; sister, Cynthia (Jim) Wine of Jackson, MO; his beloved grandchildren, Connor and Brayden Jeffries, Hayden and Reagan Graddy; his mother-in-law Letha Eftink,  his dear sisters- in-law and their husbands; his brother-in-law and wife. He will be deeply missed by his cousins as well as all his nieces and nephews.
