Robert Allen Clay was born on July 23, 1936, in Hayward, Missouri. to the late Faye Haggard Clay & Alfred Clay. He passed away on Tuesday December 17, 2024 at Gideon Care Center, at the age of 88 years 4 months and 24 days. Preceding him in death was his parents, Faye Haggard Clay and Alfred Clay, Also preceding him.in death his brother Henry Gene Clay and Sister Dorothy Faye Clay Nelson,
He was united in marriage to Doris Prince on September 20, 1959, in Marston, Mo she survives of the home. He was a member of the Evergreen Baptist Church in Marston, He loved spending time with his family and listening to Blue Grass music, deer hunting and growing a garden, for everyone to enjoy. He was a veteran of the US Navy and retired from the St Jude Industrial Water Plant.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife: Doris Clay of Marston, Mo, his son, Robert A (Karen) of Marston, Missouri and Daughter, Laurie (Dennis) Reed of Essex Missouri. One Brother, Bill Clay of Jackson, Michigan one Sister, Martha Dyer of Lansing Michigan. Four Grandchildren, Brandy (Thomas) Creasy, Codie (Jeannie) Keith, Trey (Tanisha) Clay, Whitney (Steve) Wilkerson. 9 great-grandchildren, Jaiden Creasy, Annabeth Creasy, Kaylynn Keith. Colton Keith, Marissa Wilkerson, Maci Wilkerson, Brody Wilkerson, Paxton Clay, one sweet baby on the way, Magnolia Clay, and a host of many other relatives and friends.
