Robbie Jo Davis Was born Feb. 11, 1920 in Hardin County, TN to Bessie Fondren and Garland Stricklin. She died May 24, 2008 at her home in Marston, MO at the age of 88 years, 3 months and 13 days. She was united in marriage in Portageville, MO, October 7, 1938 to Shelby Davis. He preceded her in death Jan. 6, 2003. Also preceding her in death were her parents, Bessie & Garland Stricklin; two brothers: James Earl and John Albert and one sister Cleo. She was a member of the Evergreen Baptist Church in Marston, MO. She leaves to cherish her memories her daughter & son-in-law, Shirley & Pete Savat of Marston, MO; grandchildren: Tonya Ganus of Lilbourn and Tammy Dobbs of Hot Spring, Arkansas; great-grandchildren: Ross, Brandon and Jordan Ganus; great-great-grandchildren: Alexis Ganus, Kylee Sin & Emily Ganus and a host of other relatives and friends. Services were conducted 2:00 p.m. May 27, 2008 at DeLisle Funeral Chapel with Rev. Bill Baldwin officiating. Pallbearers were: Dean Stricklin, Ralph Prince, Michael Prince Robert Hayes, Barry Lee Richardson & Lee Richardson. Interment followed in Mounds Park Cemetery with DeLisle Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
