R idge Hunter Starnes was born to Rod & Mary Hunter Starnes & Sandy Starnes on May 8, 1989 in Sikeston, MO. He passed away Tuesday, February 26, 2019 in Portageville, MO at the age of 29 years, 9 months and 18 days.

H e was preceded in death by his grandparents, Frank and Lillian Starnes and his father-in-law, Greg Corbett. Ridge was a good kid who grew into a great man and a loving husband and father. He was a 2007 graduate of Portageville High School. He was united in marriage to Haley Elizabeth (Corbett) Starnes on April 29, 2017 and together, they were blessed with their son Easton. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his friends and family, especially his little boy. Ridge always had a smile on his face and never knew a stranger.

H e leaves to cherish his memory: his beloved wife and son, Haley and Easton Starnes of Portageville, MO; his parents, Rod & Mary Hunter Starnes of Tell City, IN and Sandy Starnes of Hayti, MO; grandparents, Bill and Shirley Thacker of Portageville, MO, Henry & Mary Ann Hunter of New Madrid, MO, two brothers, Rodney (Brandi) Starnes of Finley, TN and Patrick Hunter of Princeton, IN; one sister, Sasha Starnes of Portageville, MO; his mother-in-law Tina (Brian) Crossno of Portageville, MO and many other relatives and friends.
