Richard Eugine Ivie

W as born September 20. 1938 in East Prairie, MO to Annie Johnson Ivie & Ted Ivie. He passed away on Tuesday September 15, 2020 at St. Francis Hospital in Cape Girardeau, MO at the age of 81years, 11 months & 26 days.

H e was united in marriage to the love of his life on January 5, 1957 in East Prairie, MO to Shirley Wilson. Preceding him in death was his parents, Annie (Johnson) Ivie and Ted Ivie, also preceding him in death was, one son, Richie Ivie Jr., two sisters, Patricia Parker & Rebecca Ivie. He was owner and operator of Ivie Oil Company for many years, he loved coaching baseball, fishing, hunting, gardening and watching Cardinals baseball games, but his greatest joy was his family.

H e leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Shirley Ivie of Portageville, MO,  his children; Stanley Ivie of Sikeston, MO, Mike (Mary) Ivie of Poplar Bluff, MO, Danny Ivie of Portageville, MO, Rodney (Stephanie) Ivie, , Candace (Darian) Allen, Valerie (Trey) Rone all of Portageville, MO, his brothers; Jimmy Ray Ivie of Sikeston, MO, Bernard Ivie of Munford,  TN, one sister, LaDonna Small of Sikeston, MO, 23 grandchildren  30  great- grandchildren and a host of many  other relatives and friends.
