Raymond L. Boone Was born February 8, 1912 in Carter Community, MO to Inez Edwards Boone and P.L. Boone . He died Tuesday, November 25, 2008 at Cape Girardeau, Mo at the age of 96 years, 9 months and 17 days. In addition to his parents, Inez (Edwards) Boone & P.L. Boone , he was preceded in death by his former wife, Mary Helen Roberson of Bakersfield, CA; his sisters , Nellie Boone, Amelia Ward & Daisy Downing; his brothers, Francis, Henry, Norvil, Goah, Buster and Granville Boone. He was honored with serving as a Centennial Farmer and was owner & operator of a Grocery Store for over 50 years & a lifelong member of Hayward Baptist Church. He leaves to cherish his memories his son & daughter-in-law, Raymond Dean (Sarrah Pauline) Boone of St. Charles MO his daughter, Carolyn Diane Boone of Bakersfield, CA his grandchildren, Kimberly Dean (Hedy) Boone of Ellisville, MO, Kristi Leann Boone of Jefferson City, MO, Tracy, Micky & Nicky Boone of Bakersville CA. Two Great Grandchildren; Rachel Michelle Boone of Indianapolis , IN & Amanda Nicole Boone of Ellisville, MO, several nieces & nephews, special friends, Jack Studie, Ernie Penrod, Paul Johnson, Susan Buchanan Wheeler & Rossetta Lovell and many other relatives, friends and neighbors.
