Virginia Pauline Ward Was born February 12, 1919 in Cotton Wood Point, MO to the late Samuel Felix Cook and Maude Abbott Cook. She died Thursday; Dec. 29, 2011 at St. Francis Hospital in Cape Girardeau, MO at the age of 92 years, 10 months and 18 days. She was united in marriage to Norvil Ward in Portageville MO on November 21, 1937, he preceded her in death on Jan 19, 1977, also preceding her in death were her parents, Maude Abbott Cook & Samuel Felix Cook, her son; Gary Ward, brother; Samuel Cook Jr, and sister; Geraldine Cook. She was a past member of the Hayward Methodist Church and she loved spending time with her family. She leaves to cherish her memories her sons; Norvil Wayne Ward of Steele , MO, Larry Eugene Ward of Portageville, MO, Billy Wes Ward of Swartz Creek, MI, brother; Russell Cook of Tyler, Texas. 11 Grandchildren; Tyrone Ward, Trena Underwood, Laurie Ann Kuhl, William Bradley Ward, Brain Scott Ward, Rebecca Shay Goff, David Michael Ward, Robert Craig Ward, Gary Clinton Ward, Jody Renee Reynolds, Jason Kurt Ward, 22 Great Grandchildren 5 Great - Great Grandchildren and a host of many other relatives and friends.
