Paul Allen Recker

W as born July 26, 1983 in Hayti, MO to Ronnie and Mary (Hennessey) Recker. He passed away on Monday, May 27, 2019 at the General Baptist Nursing Home in Campbell, MO following an extended illness, he was 35 years, 10 months & 1 day.

P aul was very active during his high school years at Portageville, he played football and ran track all four years, he played basketball in 9-10 ^th grade, he was in foreign language his 10-11 ^th year ,also serving as sophomore class officer, while he was a senior he was in key club, big howl & drama, he graduated Portageville High School in 2002. He attended Southeast Missouri University. Anyone who knew him felt his amazing spirit, he had a very big heart that he would open up for anyone. Paul proudly served in the United States Army from January 10, 2003 until May 2006 serving as a combat engineer and served in Iraq. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, his passion was in farming. H e leaves to cherish his many memories: his mom & dad: Mary & Ronnie Recker of Portageville, MO, his sister Kathryn Keesee of Jackson, MO, his brother; John "Gus" Recker of Cape Girardeau, MO, his niece & nephew, Alyson & Kenneth Keesee and a host of many other relatives and friends.
