Paul Vernon Davis Was born October 23, 1939 in Pemiscot County to Jessie Davis and Ida Mae Perry Davis. He died Sunday May 24, 2015 at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau, MO at the age of 75 years. He was united in marriage on October 15, 1953 in Portageville Mo to Brenda Joyce Negler Davis she survives of the home. Preceding him in death, were his parents, Ida Mae Perry Davis & Jessie Davis and two brothers, Randal Davis and Wendell Gayle Davis. He was a member of the First Church of God in Portageville, Mo, and was retired from Woods Lumber Company after 30 years of service. He enjoyed collecting marbles and loved going on walks with his wife around town. He leaves to cherish his memories his wife Brenda Joyce Davis of Portageville, MO, one daughter and Son-in-Law Julie and Kevin Connell of Jackson, Mo, his brothers Raymond Davis and Jerry Davis both of Hayti, Mo and Rickey Davis and Eugene Davis both of Concord, Mo, four grandchildren Ellie Cagle of Clearwater, Florida, Jessy Cagle of Jackson, Mo, Taylor Connell of Jackson, Mo and August Connell of Jackson, Mo.
