Patricia Elaine Young

Patricia Elaine (West) Young was born on May 25, 1962 in Catron, Missouri. to the late Elizabeth Smith West & Clifton Lee West. She transitioned to her heavenly home on Tuesday August 26, 2025 at her home in Cape Girardeau, Mo, at the age of 63 years, three months and one day.

Patricia accepted Christ at an early age. She was a lifelong member of The Good Hope Missionary Baptist Church of Marston, Missouri. She was a member, Past director and president of the choir for many years. She was also a member of the True lite Gospel Singers for twelve years. The West Singers for five years. She was a very dedicated worker at the SRG Global plant were she worked for 31 years.

Patricia knew the Lord and served him faithfully. She Thanked and praised him to the very end of her journey. Her favorite scripture was Psalms 133:1.

Preceding her in death was her parents, Elizabeth Smith West & Clifton Lee West, also preceding two brothers Stanley West and Steven West.

She  leaves to cherish her memories, Two children, Stanley Earl Hampton Jr and Analishia Patrice Hampton, both of Cape Girardeau, Mo. One brother Reginald (Brenda) West, One sister, Kimberly (Clyde) Nolen all of Portageville, MO all of Portageville, Mo. Nine grandchildren,  Satron Hampton, Sayv'ean Hampton, Ja'Savia Hampton, Kamani Gilyard, Szakori Hill-Hampton, Szakylin Hill, Lawrence Jacobs III, Aniyah Umfleet and Derrick Dortch Jr., Two Great Grands, Za'Nari Hamptonand Sayv'ean Hampton. Jr. and a host of many other relatives and friends.
