In Loving Memory of Patricia Faye Birdwell

Patricia Faye Birdwell, 80, of Portageville, Missouri, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at New Madrid Nursing Home.

She was born on August 21, 1945, in Truman, Arkansas, to the late Allie Bell Meador and Earl Passmore. Patricia was united in marriage to Vernon Birdwell, who preceded her in death on May 1, 2008. She was also preceded in death by her son, Gary Dale Birdwell; granddaughters, Donna Jones; and grandsons, Logan and Ayce Birdwell, Son -in-law Jimmy Babb.

Patricia's life was centered around her family, and she was a source of love, strength, and guidance to all who knew her. She is survived by her children: Vernon Dale Birdwell of Lilbourn, MO; Shane Alle Birdwell of Hayti, MO; Elizabeth Mae Babb of Portageville, MO; Teresa (Ray) Ann Jolly of New Madrid, MO; Susan Kaye (Darrel) Kingston of Caruthersville, MO; and Donna Gean Parker of Hayti, MO.

She is also survived by her brothers: Ricky, Michael, and Danny Birdwell, all of Portageville, MO; and Benny Birdwell of Gray Ridge, MO; as well as her sisters: Linda Vaughn of Kennett, MO; Gayle Peterson of Campbell, MO; and Debra Birdwell of Myrtle Beach, SC. Patricia leaves behind 32 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren, each of whom will carry her memory in their hearts.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 12, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. at DeLisle Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, February 13, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at DeLisle Funeral Home, with interment to follow at Portageville Cemetery.

Patricia's legacy of love, resilience, and devotion to family will live on through the many lives she touched. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
