In Loving Memory of Pansy Ellen Ward

Pansy Ellen Ward, 88, of Orlando, Florida, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, at the Commons at Orlando Lutheran Towers.

Born on July 2, 1938, in Sikeston, Missouri, to Mamie Fisher Stewart and Ed Stewart, Pansy grew up with strong values of faith, family, and hard work. She was united in marriage to Joe Ted Ward on July 31, 1954, in Corinth, Mississippi. They shared a devoted life together until his passing on January 16, 2007.

Pansy was of the Methodist faith and found her greatest joy in spending time with her family and friends. She was a dedicated and hardworking woman, working side by side with her husband and family in their business in Tennessee before retiring to Florida to be near her son. Her kindness, determination, and love for others touched all who knew her.

She is survived by her sons, Rick Ward of Mountain View, California, and Dan Ward of Orlando, Florida, along with many other beloved family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and other dear loved ones.

Visitation will be held on Monday, August 17, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at DeLisle Funeral Home in Portageville, Missouri.

Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m., with interment at Portageville Cemetery.
