Pansy Ruth Stafford

W as born December 23, 1938 to Lovel and Sylvania (Phillips) LeSieur. She was united in marriage to Jim Stafford on August 30, 1959 in Portageville, MO. She died in Portageville, MO at the age of 77 years, 5 months and 15 days.

P receding her in death, were her parents, Lovel & Sylvania (Phillips) LeSieur; her husband, Jim Stafford; one brother: Carroll LeSieur and one sister: Mildred Robbins.

S he was a member of the First Baptist Church in Portageville, MO, where she was a Sunday School Teacher. She was a member of the Workforce Investment Board and of the Auxiliary of the Gideon's International. She graduated from Portageville High School and was class valedictorian. Mrs. Pansy and her late husband, Jim owned and operated Stafford furniture for many years and still operating today with her son, Scott. She was a member of the Red Hat Society, which brought her great joy. She was an avid fisherman, as well as an avid shopper.

S he leaves to cherish her memories one son; Scott Stafford & one daughter, Kristi (Mike) Johnson of Portageville, MO; one brother Fred (Rene Rone) LeSieur of San Antonio, TX; three sisters: Brenda (Everett) Daughtery of Portageville, MO, Scherry (Carl) Joffe of Biloxi, MS and Gail (Brian) Magruder of Castle Rock, CO and one sister-in-law, Martha LeSieur of Portageville, MO, brother-in-law, Bob Robbins of Portageville, MO, ten grandchildren: Josh Gowan, Mindy Crowley, Candice Harper, Lauren Nowell, Myles Stafford, Danielle Larry, Sara Scott Stafford, Beth Ann Stafford, Case Stafford and Colt Stafford, and nine great grandchildren: Cami & Jaxson Harper, Aaliyah & Emmett Larry, Lane & Khloe Bratton, Jameson Gowan, Lynn-Avery & Sam Crowley, and a host of many other relatives and friends.
