She was united in marriage in Tennessee on Nov. 29, 1929 to Hoy Thacker he preceded her in death July 17, 2000. Also preceding her in death, were her parents, Bessie Arkes & M. Evans, 3 daughters; Evelyn Ray, Mary Nell Griswell & Faye Matlock 3 Sisters; Gerthie Whitley, Zadie Sipes & Zelphie Sweatt One brother, Ernest Evans.
