Norvil Wayne Ward

W as born on October 13, 1938 in Hayward, Missouri to the late Norvil Ward and Pauline (Cook) Ward.  He passed away on Monday, March 13, 2023 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri at the age of 84 years, and five months.

P receding him in death were his parents Pauline and Norvil Wayne Ward and three brothers, Gary Ward, Bill Ward and Larry Ward.

H e was united in marriage to Carolyn Lineberry on December 29, 1960 and to  this union two children were born, Ty and Trena. He was a very devoted farmer and loved to read  and listen to gospel music. On January 6, 2007 he was united in marriage to Pat Moore in Steele Missouri she survives of the home. He was of  Methodist faith  and attended several churchs in the bootheel of Missouri.

H e leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Pat Ward of Steele, Missouri, one daughter and son-in-law, Trena and Greg Underwood of Portageville, Missouri. one son and daughter-in-law, Ty and Tracy Ward of Indianapolis, Indiana, step-children, Michelle (Jeff) Cox of Memphis, TN and Kevin Holmes of Steele, MO, seven grandchildren; Kathlyn Michelle Underwood (Jacob) Amason , Chad Alan (Lauren) Underwood, Taylor McKenna Ward, Dylan Thomas Ward, Ryan Cox, Sumer & Jake Holmes, two great-grandchildren: Eli Hardy and Riley Nell Amason and a host of many other relatives and friends.
