Norvel Briggs Carden Born October 6, 1942 in Dorena,, Mo. Norvel lived a full and blessed life until he returned to be with the Lord on August 22, 2010 in the VA Hospital in St Petersburg, FL. He was met in Heaven by his Father, Briggham "Red" Carden, His Moter, Rachel Threkeld Carden, his sister, Rosemary Fields, & brother, Robert Floyd Carden Left behind to cherish his memory his brothers and Sisters; Marie Parnell-Arnold of Michigan, LaWanda Morgan of Oklahoma, Ruth Stewart of Portageville, MO, Carolyn Brown of Cape Girardeau, MO, Doris Parnell of Portageville, MO, Calvin Carden of Portageville Eugene Carden of Union City, Tn, Brenda Sides of Caruthersville, Mo and a wealth of nieces, nephews and friends. During his life on earth Norvel served his country in the U.S. Army as a sharp shooter. After his time inn the military he worked many years as a cook on a river tow boat and several years as a cook in local area restaurants
