Norma Jean Durbin

W as born December 6th, 1944 in Selmer, TN to John Sweat and Zilpha Evans. She died Thursday; March 16, 2017 at Residence; Portageville, MO at the age of 72 Years, 3 Months, and 10 days.

P receding her in death were her parents, Zilpha Evans and John Sweat; her husband, William Elbert Durbin; one brother, John Sweat Jr. five sisters, Jewell Jones , Virginia Ann Wilkins, Lois Lynn Cole, Linda Kay Cole, Betty Carolyn Cole and one granddaughter, Crystal Ramirez. Norma enjoyed spending time with her family, quilting, gardening, cooking, and sewing.

S he leaves to cherish her memories one son, William Durbin of Portageville, MO, one daughter, Kathy Cook of Portageville, MO, one granddaughter, April Altice; three grandsons Kevin Durbin, Billy Cook, and Jay Cook; and one great-grandson, Hector Ramirez and a host of many other relatives and friends.
