James "Nathan" Day

W as born April 28, 1969 in Hayti, Mo to Noah Donald Day and Brenda Sue Beasley. He passed away on Thursday, June 28, 2018 at Missouri Delta Medical Center, Sikeston, Mo at the age of 49 years and 2 months.

W as a graduate of Portageville High School in 1987, and worked as an outside contractor. He loved hunting and fishing but his greatest passion was for his music, he played the drums with several different bands in the area, he was a great drummer, probably one of the best in Southeast Missouri. Nathan will be remembered for his kind heart, gentle spirit, quick wit and easy laugh. He will be missed by his family and his many friends especially his music community.

H e leaves to cherish his memories, his father, Don Day and his wife Cindy of Portageville, Mo, his mother, Brenda Day of Morehouse MO, one daughter, Amalia Grace Day also of Morehouse, Mo, his son, Jon Tyler Day of Sikeston, MO, many other relatives and friends.
