Minnie Alice Clay Was born February 20, 1920 in Fort Douglas, AR to Walter Patten and Lucy (Ross) Patten. She died Thursday, April 9, 2015 at Gideon Care Center in Gideon, MO at the age of 95 years, 1 month and 20 days. She was united in marriage August 14, 1938 to Clarence "Pete" Clay who preceded her in death March 16, 1983. Also preceding her in death were: her parents, Lucy (Ross) Patten & Walter Patten, one step-son, Jerry Clay, her sisters: Opal Gamlin, Ann Hughey, Hila Peterson and Margaret (infant) Patten and her brothers: Odell, Pierce, Alfred Patten and Burl Patton She leaves to cherish her memories her sons: Jim Clay of St Peters, MO and David Clay of Tallahassee, FL; her daughter, Barbara and Richard Kraus of Arnold, MO, two Brothers, J.D. Patton and Kenneth Patton both of Portageville, MO; one sister LaVerne Robinson of Tucson, AZ; 7 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, 4 Great Great Grandchlidren and a host of many other relatives and friends.
