Mi ldred Juanita Brown

W as born June 11, 1926 in Portageville MO to John Negler and Clara Carson Negler. She passed away on Saturday June 17, 2017 at MO Delta Medical Center, Sikeston MO, at the age of 91 years and 6 days.

O n April 25, 1941, she was united in marriage to her loving husband, Wayne Brown, he precedes her in death also preceding her in death were her parents, John and Clara (Carson) Negler, one son, Bill Brown, one sister, Peggy Quick, and one brother, John Negler. Mildred was a longtime member of the Church of God in Portageville where she served on numerous boards and committees and loved teach her Sunday school classes. She was a postmaster in her earlier years serving out at the Jaywye community. Then she worked for many years as a dental assistant for Dr. Barnes, she truly loved her job and enjoyed visiting with everyone daily.

M ildred leaves to cherish her many memories, one son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Jan Brown of Savannah, GA, one daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Donnie Bland of Portageville, MO, one sister, Joyce Davis of Portageville, MO, four grandchildren, Kevin and Gina Brown of Savannah, GA, Scott and Lisa Brown of Wildwood, MO, Stacey Donovan of Delaware, and Brittney and Nathanael Berg of Salina, KS, eight great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren and a host of many other family and friends.
