W as born on February 26, 1951 in Sikeston, Missouri to the late Amos Edward French and Gladys House Smith.  He passed away on September 19, 2022 at his home in Portageville, Missouri at the age of 71years, 6 month, 24 days.

P receding him in death were his parents, Amos Edward French and Gladys House Smith two brothers, Gene French and Jimmy French and a sister, Juanita Henley.

M ike was the owner/operator of Mike French Trucking. Mike spent countless hours as the baseball commissioner, he was very instrumental in many of the projects done to the fields and Concession stands and he loved working in his yard. he liked listening to music, duck hunting and fishing, swimming and doing mechanic work, he also enjoyed racing and baseball, he loved to spend time with his kids and grandkids.

H e leaves to cherish his memories two sons and daughters-in-law, Jordan and Mindy French of Jackson, MO and Ben and Sara French of Portageville, MO, two sisters, Karen French Baxter of Bethalto, IL and Sharon Paylor of Memphis, TN and three grandchildren Ana Leigh French, Nolan French and Jake French.

The family requests donations made to St. Jude Children's Hospital in lieu of flowers.
