Michele (Shelly) Renee Davis Vaughn of Hayti, Missouri formally of Canalou Mo.
Michele was a caring daughter, sister, mom, grandmother and friend. She left this world unexpectedly on January 1, 2022 at the age of 58.
She was born to the late Billy Edward Davis and Lois Marie Davis on November 18, 1963 in Waukegan, Illinois
As a young child, Shelly proclaimed her love for animals and had many throughout her life that she loved unconditionally. After she graduated high school, she married Ronnie Mascroft. Together they shared 3 children. Nathan (Holly) Mascroft of White Bluff, TN, Jason (Stacy) Mascroft of Sikeston, Missouri and Bridget Mascroft of St. Louis Missouri.
On December 21, 1993 she married Woodrow Vaughn Jr who she remained married to until his death in 2017.
The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Shelly. She enjoyed playing games and spending time with her family and friends, Going to Bingo, and listening to music. Even when she struggled, she had a way of finding happiness in all her daily activities. She had a vibrant personality and bright smile which was contagious to all who knew her.
Though Shelly worked at several jobs throughout her life, she most enjoyed being a wife, mom, grandmother, sister and friend. When she spoke of family, she beamed with pride and was always ready to talk about her children and grandchildren to anyone who would listen
In addition to her children, she is survived by her sisters; Debbie (Ricky) Reed of San Antonio Texas, Mary Davis Voyles of Iuka, MS. Brothers; Joseph Edward (Pam) Davis of Pittsburg, Texas and Jimmy (Cindy) Davis of Tishomingo MS. Her grandchildren, Hensley, Lexin, Nadaleigh, Addisyn, and Riley, several nieces and nephews, and her friend Deanie Welch who she loved to go to BINGO with along with others adventures.
The trio including her other friend, Emma Mayberry where know as the 3 musketeers.
A memorial and meal will be held Saturday January 8, 2022 at 1pm at the Matthews Jaycees in Matthews Missouri and burial at Matthews Cemetery.
