Maxine Hayes Was born August 19, 1929 in Hardin County, TN to Jewel (Poole) Duckworth and Joe Duckworth. She died Wednesday, September 14, 2011 at her home in Portageville, Mo at the age of 82 years and 25 days. She was united in marriage Feb. 1, 1948 in Pemiscot County, Missouri to Bill Hayes who survives of the home. She was a faithful member of the First Church of God in Portageville, MO. Preceding her in death were her parents, Jewel (Poole) Duckworth & Joe Duckworth, her sister, Frankie Kemp and one brother, Gene Duckworth. She leaves to cherish her memories her husband; Bill Hayes of Portageville, MO, her son & daughter-in-law; Ronnie & Dianne Hayes of Frisco, TX, Her Brother, Jack Duckworth of Pendleton, Indiana and Sister, Robbie Klinkhardt of Hayti MO, her grandchildren, Keith Hayes & Holly McCall Frisco, TX and Great Grandchildren, Katelyn McCall & Ronald K. "Trip" Hayes III and loving caregivers, Beverly Clark, Jo Stafford, Carrol Clark, and a host many other relatives and friends.
