Matthew Lee Trotter

Matthew was born to Jurine Green and Nelson Trotter of Memphis, Tennessee where he was raised as a child. Both parents preceded him in death with also nineteen brothers and sisters who also preceded him death with one sister remaining Annie Washington of Portageville, MO.

Matthew Trotter was a loving father of five children and on step daughter. He was a hardworking man all of his life, while working at the federal compress warehouse, he also in the Army for a short time, while going to night school for a short time, he was a determined man too make life better for his kids and wife.

Matthew went to be with the Lord on December 20, 2018 at 3:21 P.M. in St. Louis, Missouri at Barnes Jewish Hospital. He was a good father did anything for anyone and didn't take any mess. That was Matthew!! But he was fair in dealing with people and had a good heart. He tried really hard to fight the battle of sickness he was going through, but God saw fit to give him rest.

He leaves behind a wife of 51 years Lucille Trotter of Portageville, MO; who caught his heart at a very young age. Five kids: Alfred Trotter of Hamilton, AL; Gladys Trotter of Portageville, MO; Patricia (Rainey) Mosby of Portageville, MO; Matthew Trotter Jr. of Portageville, MO; Daniel Trotter of Clarkton, MO. Also, a step sister Andry Nelle Darby (Nay) of Marston, MO. Grandchildren: Gregory Treadwell, Dometric Treadwell, Fred Treadwell Jr. Great-Grandchildren: Camille Treadwell, Daniel Trotter Jr., Antwoine Trotter, Ouintaruis Trotter. He leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins who loved his very much. Matthew was a friend to countless people who cared so much about him.
