Mary Emma Rakers was born December 3, 1934 in Portageville, MO to Dee Fite and Bertha Clark. She died Thursday, August 28, 2014 at Frontier Health & Rehabilitation in St. Charles, MO at the age of 79 years, 8 months and 25 days. She was united in marriage to Carl Rakers who preceded her in death in 1996. Also preceding her in death were her parents, Bertha Clark & Dee Fite, a brother, Robert Fite, a daughter, Vicky Odle and a son, David Odle. She was employed by the Salvation Army. She leaves to cherish her memories four sons: Clinton Odle of Herman, MO; Todd Odle of Wentzville, MO; Carl Rakers, Jr. of St. Charles, MO and Chris Rakers of Wentzville, MO; two daughters, Shelia Trimble of Caruthersville, MO and Cathy Lencenski of St. Charles, MO; 12 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and a host of many other relatives and friends.
